የኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን በሚያስተዳድራቸው ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖች ውስጥ አቅም ያላቸው የቻይና ባለሀብቶች ለመሳብ በኢትዮጵያ የቻይና ኤምባሲ ድጋፍ እንዲያደርግ የኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን  ዋና ስራ አስፈጻሚ ዶ/ር ፍሰሃ ይታገሱ ጠየቁ፡፡ 

ዋና ስራ አስፈጻሚው ጥያቄውን ያቀረቡት በቂሊንጦ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ሆፕ ሜዲካል ኮንሱመብልስ ማኑፋክቸሪንግ ኃ/የተ/የግ/ማህበር ከተሰኘ የሕክምና ቁሳቁስ ከሚያመርት የቻይና ኩባንያ ጋር የውል ስምምነት በተፈረመበት ወቅት ነው፡፡

በስምምነት ስነ_ስርአቱ ላይ ዶ/ር ፍሰሃ ኮርፖሬሽኑ በሚያስተዳድራቸው የኢንቨስትመንት ማዕከላት ውስጥ በውጭ ቀጥተኛ ኢንቨስትመንት ከፍተኛው ድርሻ የሚይዙት ቻይናውያን ባለሃብቶች መሆናቸውን ገልጸው አሁንም ተጨማሪ ባለሃብቶችን በተለይም በፋርማሲዩቲካል የኢንቨስትመንት ዘርፍ እንዲሰማሩ ለማድርግ ኤምባሲው የሚያደርገውን ድጋፍ እንዲያጠናክር ጠይቀዋል፡፡

የሁለቱን ሀገራት መንግስታዊና ህዝባዊ ግንኙነት ወደ ላቀ ደረጃ ለማሸጋገር ኢንቨስትመንትን ማሳደግ ወሳኝ መሆኑን የጠቀሱት ዋና ስራ አስፈጻሚው፤ ከባለሀብቶቹ ጋር ያለውን የጋራ ግንኙነት ለማቀላጠፍ የኮርፖሬሽኑ ሰራተኞች መሰረታዊ የቻይና ቋንቋ ስልጠና እንዲሰጡ መደረጉን ገልጸዋል። በተጨማሪም ትልልቅ ባለሀብቶችን ለመሳብ የታለሙ የማስተዋወቅ ስራዎች እየተከናወኑ መሆኑን ጠቁመው፣ ለዚህም ኤምባሲው ላደረገው ትብብር ምስጋና አቅርበዋል።

በኢትዮጵያ የቻይና አምባሳደር ሚስተር ቼን ሃይ በበኩላቸው፣ ኮርፖሬሽኑ በተለይም ከቅርብ አመታት ወዲህ ለኢትዮጵያ ኢንዱስትሪ እድገትና ልማት እየሰራቸው ያላቸው ስራዎች በቻይና ከሚገኙ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖች ጋር ተመሳሳይ መሆኑንና ለዚህም የቻይና መንግስትም በኢትዮጵያ የሚካሄዱ የኢንቨስትመንት እንቅስቃሴዎችን መደገፉን እንደሚቀጥል ቃል ገብተዋል።

አምባሳደሩ በተጨማሪም ኤምባሲው  ከቻይና ባለሀብቶች ጋር ያለውን ስትራቴጂካዊ አጋርነት ይበልጥ ለማጠናከርና ተጨማሪ ኢንቨስትመንቶችን ለመሳብ በቁርጠኝነት እንደሚሰሩና የኢትዮጵያን የሕክምና ዘርፍ ለማዘመንና በኢንዱስትሪ ለማሳደግ ተጨማሪ የቻይና ባለሃብቶች ገብተው እንዲሰሩ የማስተዋወቅ፤የማግባባትና የድጋፍና ክትትል ስራዎችን እንደሚሰሩ ገልጸዋል፡፡

በዛሬው እለት ተፈራርሞ የለማ መሬት የተረከበው ሆፕ ሜዲካል ኮንሱመብልስ ማኑፋክቸሪንግ ኩባንያ የግንባታ ስራውን ለማጠናቀቅ 7 ወራትን እንደሚወስድበት በስምምነቱ ወቅት የተገለጸ ሲሆን ስራ ሲጀምርም 95 በመቶ የሚሆኑ ምርቶቹን በሃገር ውስጥ ገበያ በማቅረብ የሃገሪቱን ተኪ ምርት በማሳደግ በኩል የራሱን ሚና እንደሚጫወት በስምምነቱ ወቅት ተገልጿል፡፡

China’s Embassy Urged to Boost Support for Investment in Ethiopia’s SEZs

The Chief Executive Officer of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC),  Feseha Yitagsu (PhD), has called on the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia to enhance its support in attracting anchor Chinese investors to the country’s special economic zones(SEZs). 

The appeal was made during the signing ceremony of an agreement with Hope Medical Consumables Manufacturing PLC, a Chinese firm specializing in the production of medical supplies, which will operate in the Kilinto Special Economic Zone. 

Speaking at the event, Dr. Feseha noted that Chinese investors currently represent the largest share of foreign direct investment across the corporation’s SEZs. He emphasized the importance of bringing in additional investors, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector, and urged the embassy to strengthen its facilitation efforts.
He added that expanding investment flows is key to deepening both governmental and people-to-people ties between Ethiopia and China. To improve coordination with incoming investors, the corporation plans to provide basic Chinese language training for its staff.

Dr. Feseha also highlighted ongoing promotional initiatives aimed at attracting large-scale investors and expressed appreciation for the Chinese Embassy’s continued cooperation.

Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Chen Hai, commended the corporation’s progress, stating that its recent achievements in industrial development mirror the success of China’s own special economic zones. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Ethiopia’s investment landscape.

Ambassador Chen further underscored the embassy’s dedication to strengthening strategic ties, attracting more investors, and contributing to the modernization of Ethiopia’s healthcare sector and broader industrial growth.

Under the agreement signed at the event, Hope Medical Consumables Manufacturing PLC has secured developed land and is expected to complete construction within seven months. Once operational, the company plans to supply 95 percent of its products to the domestic market, supporting import substitution and boosting local manufacturing capacity.
