Two enterprises interested in developing their own production facility at Kilinto Industrial Park have signed a leasing agreement with the corporation.
Currently, 70 percent of malt is imported annually, leaving the beer industry short of supply. The malt maker will source its barely entirely from local farmers and 80 percent of the barley producers will be smallholder farmers.
The Industrial Parks Development Corporation has signed an agreement with two manufacturing companies that enter and operate in industrial parks.
This was stated by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation, Shiferaw Solomon, when he signed an agreement with a new manufacturing company that will enter in Dire Dawa Industrial Park.
