አምባሳደር ኤርቪን ማሲንጋ የሃዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞንን ጎበኙ

በኢትዮጵያ የአሜሪካ ባለሙሉ ሥልጣን አምባሳደር ኤርቪን ማሲንጋ የሃዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞንን በመጎብኘት በዞኑ የሚከናወኑ የኢንዱስትሪና የኢንቨስትመንት እንቅስቃሴዎችን ተመልክተዋል።

አምባሳደሩ በዞኑ ሲደርሱ በኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን የኦፐሬሽንና ፓርክ አስተዳደር ዘርፍ ምክትል ሥራ አስፈፃሚ አቶ ፍፁም ከተማ አቀባበል አድርገውላቸዋል።

በጉብኝታቸው ወቅት አምባሳደር ማሲንጋ እና የሚመሩት የልዑካን ቡድን ስለ ሃዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን አጠቃላይ የሥራ እንቅስቃሴ፣ የኢንቨስትመንት አፈጻጸም እና የወደፊት እቅዶች ዝርዝር ገለጻ ተደርጎላቸዋል።

በተጨማሪም አምባሳደሩና የልዑካን ቡድናቸው በልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኑ ውስጥ በተለያዩ የማኑፋክቸሪንግ ዘርፎች የተሰማሩ ኩባንያዎችን በመጎብኘት የምርት ሂደታቸውንና የሥራ እንቅስቃሴያቸውን ተመልክተዋል።

በጉብኝቱ ማጠቃለያም አምባሳደር ማሲንጋ በሃዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን የተገነባውን ምቹ የኢንቨስትመንት አካባቢ፣ የሚከናወነውን የማኑፋክቸሪንግ ሥራ እና የኢንዱስትሪ ልማት እንቅስቃሴ በማድነቅ የዞኑ እንቅስቃሴ ለኢትዮጵያ የኢንዱስትሪ እድገትና የኢኮኖሚ ልማት ጉልህ አስተዋፅኦ እንዳለው ገልጸዋል።

U.S. Ambassador Ervin Massinga Visits Hawassa Special Economic Zone

The United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ethiopia, Ervin Massinga, has visited the Hawassa Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to gain firsthand insight into the zone’s industrial and investment activities.

Upon his arrival, Ambassador Massinga was received by Mr. Fitsum Ketema, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Operations and Park Management of Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC).

During the visit, the Ambassador and his delegation were briefed on the Hawassa Special Economic Zone’s operational performance, investment achievements, and future development priorities. The briefing highlighted the zone’s role in promoting industrialization, attracting investment, and creating employment opportunities.

The delegation also toured several manufacturing companies operating within the SEZ, where they observed production processes and engaged with company representatives on their operations and contributions to Ethiopia’s manufacturing sector.

Speaking at the conclusion of the visit, Ambassador Massinga commended the Hawassa Special Economic Zone for fostering a conducive investment environment and supporting the growth of the country’s manufacturing industry. He acknowledged the zone’s contribution to Ethiopia’s industrial development and economic transformation.

The Hawassa Special Economic Zone is one of Ethiopia’s flagship industrial hubs, serving as a key destination for export-oriented manufacturing and investment while contributing to the country’s broader industrialization agenda.
