ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ (ዶ/ር) ሐዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ውስጥ የሚገኘውን ቶዮ ሶላር ጎበኙ 

የኢፌድሪ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ (ዶ/ር) በሐዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ውስጥ የሚገኘውን ቶዮ ሶላር ዛሬ ጎብኝተዋል፡፡ 

ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ በሐዋሳ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን በነበራቸው ጉብኝት ቶዮ ሶላር ከፀሐይ ብርሃን ኃይል ማመንጨት የሚያስችሉ ሶላር ፓናሎችን እያመረተ በመመልከታቸው ደስታ እንደተሰማቸው ገልጸዋል። 

በጉብኝቱ የሶላር ፋብሪካው ከፍተኛ ጥራት ያለው ምርት የማምረት አቅም የተላበሰ እና ዘመናዊ የምርት ሥርዓት እንደሚከተል መታዘባቸውን ጠቁመው ኩባኒያው ምርቱን ወደ ወጪ ሀገራት በመላክ ለሀገሪቱ ውጪ ንግድ እድገት  አስተዋፅኦ እንደሚኖረው ያላቸውን ተስፋ አመላክተዋል። 

የኩባኒያው ሥራ እሴት የተጨመረባቸው ምርቶች ለዓለም ገበያ በማቅረብ ኢትዮጵያ እንደ ሀገር ያስቀመጠቻቸውን የአምራች ኢንዱስትሪ ግቦች እና ፖሊሲዎች ከሚያሳኩ ጨዋታ ቀያሪ ፕሮጀክቶች አንዱ መሆኑን ያመላከቱት ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አህመድ(ዶ/ር) ስራው ከመንግስት የኢንቨስትመንት ስትራቴጂያችን ጋር የተጣጣመ መሆኑንም አስምረውበታል። 

ከዚህ ቀደም ቬይትናም የሚገኘውን የቶዮ ሶላር ፋብሪካ በጎበኙበት ወቅት ከኩባንያው ፕሬዝደንቱ ጋር በነበራቸው ውይይት የፀሐይ ብርሃን ኃይል ማመንጫዎችን በኢትዮጵያ ለማምረት ተስማምተው እንደነበር አስታውሰዋል። 

ቶዮ ሶላር የኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን በሚያስተዳድረው ሐዋሳ ልዩ ኢኮኖሚ ዞን ውስጥ 110 ሚሊየን የአሜሪካን ዶላር ገደማ የሚገመት ሀብት በሁለት ምዕራፍ ስራ ላይ በማዋል ከአንድ ሺህ ለሚበልጡ ኢትዮጵያውያን የስራ ዕድል መፍጠሩ ይታወቃል፡፡

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Visits Toyo Solar Factory in HSEZ

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) paid an official visit to Toyo Solar, a state-of-the-art solar panel manufacturing facility located within the Hawassa Special Economic Zone (HSEZ) today.

The visit highlighted the government’s ongoing commitment to industrial development and renewable energy. 

Toyo Solar, which specializes in producing solar panels that harness energy from sunlight, is a key player in Ethiopia’s strategy to expand clean energy production and boost export capacity.

Prime Minister Abiy expressed his satisfaction after touring the facility, commending its high production standards, advanced technology, and potential to contribute to Ethiopia’s economic growth. 

He also noted that the factory’s capacity to export solar panels to international markets aligns with the nation’s goals of enhancing foreign trade and strengthening its manufacturing base.

He emphasized that the project is well aligned with the government’s investment strategy and industrialization policies.

Prime Minister Abiy also recalled a previous visit to Toyo Solar’s facility in Vietnam, where an agreement was reached with the company’s leadership to establish solar panel production in Ethiopia.

The $110 million project is developed in two phases and is expected to create over 1,000 jobs opportunity for Ethiopian.

As Ethiopia continues to prioritize renewable energy and industrial growth, projects like Toyo Solar are seen as key to driving sustainable development and economic transformation.
