ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖች ለከተሞች የኢኮኖሚ እድገትና ለኢንዱስትሪ መስፋፋት የተጫወቱት ሀገራዊ ሚና ከፍተኛ ነው:-ፍሰሃ ይታገሱ (ዶ/ር)

በመላው ሀገሪቱ የተገነቡት ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖችና ነፃ የንግድ ቀጠና በሚገኙበት አካባቢ ለሚገኙ ከተሞች የኢኮኖሚ እድገትና ለሀገር ኢንዱስትሪ መስፋፋት ያበረከቱት አስተዋጽኦ ከፍተኛ መሆኑን የኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን ዋና ስራ አስፈፃሚ ፍሰሃ ይታገሱ (ዶ/ር) ገለፁ።

ዋና ስራ አስፈፃሚው ይህን የገለፁት ኮርፖሬሽኑ የተመሰረተበት 10ኛ ዓመት የምስረታ በዓል በአዳማ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን በተለያዩ ዝግጅቶች በተከበረበት ወቅት ነው።

ዶ/ር ፍሰሃ በዝግጅቱ ላይ ባስተላለፉት መልዕክት ኮርፖሬሽኑ አልምቶ በሚያስተዳድራቸው 10 ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖች፤ 1ነፃ የንግድ ቀጠናና 2 ኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ባለፉት 10 ዓመታት በስራ እድል ፈጠራ፤በከተሞች እድገትና መስፋፋት በእውቀትና ቴክኖሎጅ ሽግግር፤ እንዲሁም በኢንዱስትሪ መስፋፋት ያበረከቱት አስተዋጽኦ ከፍተኛ መሆኑን ገልፀው አሁንም ለኢንቨስትመንት ዘርፉ መነቀቃት የተተገበረውን ሀገራዊ የማክሮ ኢኮኖሚ ሪፎርም በመጠቀም  ለኢትዮጵያ እድገትና ብልፅግና ጉልህ ሚናን መጫወት አለብን ብለዋል።

በአዳማ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን በተለያዩ ዝግጅቶች በተከበረው የኮርፖሬሽኑ ምስረታ በዓል ላይ ባለፉት 10 ዓመታት ከኮርፖሬሽኑ ጋር በአብሮነት ለሰሩ ኢንቨስተሮችና ባለድርሻ አካላት እንዲሁም የልዩ ኢኮኖሚ ዞኑ አመራርና ሰራተኞች የእውቅናና የምስጋና የምስክር ወረቀት ተበርክቶላቸዋል ።

SEZs Have Played a Significant Role in the Economic Growth of Urban Centers: Dr. Feseha Yitagesu

Special Economic Zones (SEZs) established across the country have significantly contributed to the economic growth of urban centers, said Dr. Feseha Yitagesu, CEO of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation.

Dr. Feseha made the statement during the 10th-anniversary celebration of the corporation, held at the Adama Special Economic Zone.

In his address, Dr. Feseha highlighted that over the past decade, the corporation has managed 10 Special Economic Zones, one Free Trade Zone, and two industrial parks. These initiatives have created numerous employment opportunities, facilitated knowledge and technology transfer, and contributed to the growth and expansion of cities.

He emphasized that the role of SEZs in industrial development has been significant and stressed the importance of continuing to support Ethiopia’s growth and prosperity by leveraging the national macroeconomic reforms designed to stimulate investment.

The anniversary celebration featured various events, during which stakeholders who have collaborated with the corporation over the past decade were recognized with certificates of appreciation and trophies.
