The Industrial Parks Development Corporation took newly appointed Ethiopian ambassadors on a tour of three industrial parks.
More than 18 ambassadors attended the visit, which took place in Bole Lemi, Kilinto, and Adama Industrial Park.
Mr. Shiferawe Solomon, the Industrial Parks Development Corporation's operational Deputy Chief Executive Officer, extended a cordial welcome to the ambassadors and stated that the ambassadors have the capacity to promote industrial park investment prospects around the world.
During the visit, a promotional video highlighting the Industrial Parks Development Corporation's activities, as well as activities in industrial parks, investment choices, and future plans, was shown, as well as a full presentation.
The ambassadors who took part in the tour program stated the trip was beneficial and that it will help them promote industrial park investment prospects around the world.
Ambassador Bacha Debele, Ethiopia's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kenya, stated he had no prior knowledge of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation or investment potential in industrial parks, but that the tour had provided him with valuable information.
He stated that much work remains to be done to promote industrial park services and to offer frequent updates to ambassadors from all over the world.
Ambassador Bacha finished by saying that ambassadors from all over the world should promote these investment prospects and endeavor to bring money to Ethiopia.
The ambassadors visited Shints, a company in Bole Lemi Industrial Park, Kilinto Industrial Park, and service land for investors, as well as Kingdom and Antex, two production enterprises in Adama Industrial Park.
The tour program was designed to attract investors to Ethiopia particularly in the industrial parks, using ambassadors of Ethiopia around the world.
