በኢትዮጵያ የቻይና አምባሳደር የጅማ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞንን ጎበኙ

በኢትዮጵያ የቻይና አምባሳደር ቼን ሃይ የጅማ ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞንን አጠቃላይ የስራ እንቅስቃሴ ተዘዋውረው ጎብኝተዋል፡፡

አምባሳደሩ በልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኑ በነበራቸው ቆይታ በጅማና አካባቢው በስፋት የሚመረተውን አቮካዶን በግብዓትነት በመጠቀም የምግብ ዘይትና ቅባት በማምረት ወደ አውሮፓና አሜሪካ ገበያዎች የሚልከውን አክሻይ ጀይ ኩባንያ የምርት ሂደትና አጠቃላይ የሥራ እንቅስቃሴ ተመልክዋል፡፡

በልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኑ በጅማና አካባቢው ያለውን እምቅ የተፈጥሮ ሃብት ለማቀነባበር የሚያስችል የመብራት ፤የውሃ እንዲሁም የመሰረተ ልማት ስራዎች መኖራቸውን የገለጹት አምባሳደር ቼን ቻይናውያን ባለሃብቶች በተለያዩ የኢንቨስትመንት ዘርፎች ገብተው ኢንቨስት እንዲያደርጉ ከኮርፖሬሽኑ እና ሌሎችም ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በቅንጅት እንደሚሰሩ ገልጸዋል፡፡

በኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ልማት ኮርፖሬሽን የኢንቨስትመንት ፕሮሞሽንና ማርኬቲንግ ዘርፍ ስራ አስፈጻሚ አቶ ዘመን ጁነዲ በበኩላቸው የቻይና ባለሃብቶች ተሳትፎ ኮርፖሬሽኑ በሚያስተዳድራቸው ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞኖችና ነጻ የንግድ ቀጠና ከጊዜ ወደ ጊዜ ይበልጡን እያደገ የመጣና ቀዳሚ መሆኑን ገልጸው አሁንም በዋነኝነት በኢንቨስትመንት እንዲሁም በሰው ሃብት ልማት፤ በእውቀትና ክህሎት ሽግግር ጭምር ያለውን ትብብር ለማጠናከር ከኤምባሲው ጋር በቅርበት እንሰራለን ብለዋል፡፡

አያይዘዉም ከኢንዱስትሪ ፓርኮች ወደ ልዩ ኢኮኖሚ ዞንነት በመሸጋገር ሂደት ዉስጥ ያሉ ተጨማሪ የኢንቨስትመንት ማበረታቻዎችን ፤ በመንግስት እየተወሰዱ ካሉ የኢንቨስትመንት ማበረታቻ የሪፎርም ተግባራት አኳያ ፤ እንዲሁም ሰሞኑን ወደ አሜሪካ ገበያ የሚገቡ የኢትዮጵያ ምርቶች ከተጣለባቸዉ 10 በመቶ ዝቅተኛ ታሪፍ አኳያ በኢትዮጵያ ኢንቨስት ማድረግ እጅግ አዋጪ መሆኑን በማንሳት ቻይናዉያን ባለሀብቶች ተጨማሪ ኢንቨስት እንዲያደርጉ ጥሪያቸዉን አቅርበዋል፡፡

Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia Visits JSEZ

The Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia, Mr. Chen Hai, recently visited the Jimma Special Economic Zone (JSEZ) to explore its operations and development.

During his tour, Ambassador Chen observed the production processes at Akshay Jay Company, a prominent exporter of edible avocado oil from the Jimma region, which are sold in European and U.S. markets.

Ambassador Chen praised the SEZ's well-developed infrastructure, particularly highlighting the reliable supply of electricity and water, which are crucial for maximizing local resources.

He reaffirmed China's commitment to partnering with the Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) and other stakeholders to boost Chinese investments across various sectors of the Ethiopian economy.

Mr. Zemen Junedi, Chief Investment Promotion and Marketing Officer of IPDC, emphasized the vital role that Chinese investors play in Ethiopia's special economic zones and free trade areas. He also expressed the corporation’s dedication to strengthening cooperation with the Chinese Embassy, focusing on investment promotion, human resource development, and knowledge transfer.

Furthermore, Mr. Zemen encouraged further Chinese investments in Ethiopia, pointing to recent reforms that aim to transform industrial parks into special economic zones, along with enhanced investment incentives and a 10% tariff reduction on Ethiopian products entering the U.S. market.
