በባህር ዳር ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን በ500 ሚሊዮን ብር ካፒታል ከበቆሎ ምርት ስታርች ለማምረት ስራ የጀመረው ሃገር በቀል ኩባንያ የማሽን ተከላ ስራዎችን በማጠናቀቅ የሙከራ ምርት ማምረት ጀምሯል፡፡

የባህር ዳር ልዩ የኢኮኖሚ ዞን ዋና ስራ አስኪያጅ ወ/ሮ ጥሩየ ቁሜ እንደገለጹት ኩባንያው 2 ሄክታር መሬት ተረክቦ የግንባታ እና የማሽን ተከላ ስራዎችን ሲያከናውን መቆየቱን ገልጸው ኩባንያው ከ4000 በላይ ከሚሆኑ አርሶ አደሮች ጋር ዘላቂ የሆነ ምርት አቅርቦት እንዲኖረው የሚያስችል የገበያ ትስስር ፈጥሯል ብለዋል፡፡

ኩባንያው ምርቱን ለሃገር ውስጥ እና ለውጭ ገበያ እንደሚያቀርብ ለኮርፖሬሽኑ ባስገባው ፕሮጀክት ፕሮፖዛል ገልጿል፡፡

ፓሮን ትሬዲንግ 592,000 ኩንታል በቆሎን በግብዓትነት የሚጠቀም መሆኑን የገለጹት ስራ አስኪያጇ ይህም ለአካባቢው በቆሎ አምራች አርሶ አደሮች ቀጣይነት ያለው ገበያ ትስስር ከመፍጠሩ በተጨማሪ በስራ እድል ፈጠራ ላይ ትልቅ አስተዋጽኦ ያበረክታል ብለዋል፡፡

ኩባንያው አሁን ላይ ለ300 የአካባቢው ወጣቶች ዘላቂ የሆነ የስራ እድል የፈጠረ ሲሆን በሙሉ አቅሙ ወደ ስራ ሲገባ ከ1000 በላይ የሚሆኑ ዜጎችን ተጠቃሚ እንደሚያደርግ ይጠበቃል፡፡

Paron Trading Launches Pilot Production of Corn-Based Starch in Bahir Dar SEZ

Paron Trading, a local company based in the Bahir Dar Special Economic Zone (SEZ), has successfully launched the pilot production of corn-based starch. With an initial investment of 500 million birr, the company has completed the installation of its machinery and begun production.

Ms. Tiruye Kume, General Manager of the Bahir Dar Special Economic Zone, announced that Paron Trading has acquired 2 hectares of land, built its facility, and installed the necessary machinery. She also emphasized that the company has established partnerships with over 4,000 local farmers, ensuring a steady and reliable supply of corn.

As outlined in its project proposal submitted to the Industrial Park Development Corporation, Paron Trading aims to supply its products to both domestic and international markets, thereby contributing to local economic growth and enhancing the country's export potential.

The company uses 592,000 quintals of maize annually, providing a stable market for local corn producers and significantly creating job opportunities. Currently, Paron Trading has created sustainable employment for 300 local youth, with the potential to employ over 1,000 individuals once it reaches full operational capacity.
