PDC signs MoU with two Chinese Companies

The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) has signed Memorandum of Understanding with two Chinese Companies engage in the production of electric vehicle, electric cycle, and modern office furniture.

Anda Vehicle Manufacturing and Aniy Furniture PLC have allotted over 2.6 billion Birr to realize the investment. 

Anda Vehicle Manufacturing will produce 1,500 fully automated electric cars. The company will implement CKD (Complete Knock Down) technology. The auto companies currently assembling cars in Ethiopia use SKD (Semi Knock Down) technology. 

Aniy Furniture PLC is expected to revolutionize office furniture market in Ethiopia. 

The two sister companies have received 20,000-meter squares of developed land in Bole Lemi Industrial Parks. 

With over one thousand young work force and over 1.6 billion USD investment, IPDC is one of the largest public enterprises in Ethiopia. It has thirteen industrial parks and one Free Trade Zone under its administration.
